    Accessing Data Integrations

To access data integration insights, navigate to the CMDB success advisor landing page, select View insights on the Data Foundations card, and then choose the Data integrations tab. Note that this dashboard is available only after completing the CMDB success advisor for Data Foundations setup process.

    Required Roles

    • sncmdbadmin: Required to access the CMDB success advisor.
    • cmdbinstadmin: Required to manage Service Graph Connector connections in SGC Central.

    Use Cases

    • Identify inactive Discovery patterns that can enhance attribute data for principal classes.
    • Detect Service Graph Connectors with the highest attribute coverage or those installed but inactive.
    • Evaluate integrations populating ownership, relationships, and infrastructure attributes to ensure CMDB accuracy.
    • Prioritize integration improvements to maximize data quality across principal classes.

    Key Features

    • Integration overview: Displays counts of Discovery patterns and Service Graph Connectors contributing CI data.
    • Status indicators: Show which Discovery patterns are active and which Service Graph Connectors have active connections.
    • Attribute coverage insights: Allows reviewing specific CI attributes populated by each integration source for principal classes.
    • Access integration details: Enables configuration of integrations to improve attribute coverage.
    • Suggested integrations: Lists recommended but not yet installed integrations based on the current advisor scope.

    Benefits for ServiceNow Customers

By leveraging these tools, customers can systematically evaluate and optimize their CMDB data integrations, improving completeness and accuracy of configuration data. This leads to better-informed IT operations, enhanced service management, and stronger data governance across their IT environment.

Improve Data Foundations coverage by analyzing existing and suggested data integrations, including Discovery patterns and Service Graph Connectors.
