The ServiceNow®
Manufacturing Commercial Operations application enables you to manage the end-to-end life cycle of your products, subscriptions, and services. Manufacturing Commercial Operations was enhanced and updated in the Yokohama release.

## Manufacturing Commercial Operations highlights for the Yokohama release {#manufacturing-commercial-operations-rn__manufacturing-commercial-operations-rn-highlights}

* Enable manufacturers, customers, suppliers, channels, and partners to connect and track services directly between instances without configuring and maintaining custom integrations.
* Enable B2B customers to configure products and place orders via an uptake of the Sales Customer Relationship Management self-service order placement feature.
* Transform emails into interactions rather than cases with email interactions.
* Enable the dealer and sales promotion framework and its user role and responsibilities.
* Configure the Manufacturing Commercial Operations plugins.

:   The sales promotion framework helps the OEM to publish the promotions and the dealers to raise the claims against these promotions after the product sales transaction is completed.  
    Note:  
    Q2 release includes only the data model and not the playbook.
:   The sales promotion supports bulk import functionality. To enable bulk import, you must customize it on existing CSM or Business Location Service Portal (BLSP) portals.

:   Eliminate duplication effort in Remote Catalog creation and maintenance​, by enabling the copying of standard portal catalog items. This process eliminates the need to manually recreate Service Catalog items in the Service Exchange Remote Catalog.
