Several types of components are installed with activation of the Service Observability plugin, including tables and user roles.

| Service to data mapping configuration map \[sn_sow_svcobs_svc_to_config_map\] | Associates data mapping configurations with a registered service using the CMDB Group Contains Configuration Item \[cmdb_group_contains_ci\] table. |
| Data mapping configurations \[sn_sow_svcobs_mapping_config\] | Defines a data mapping configuration for a service. |
| Data mapping configuration rules \[sn_sow_svcobs_mapping_config_rules\] | Defines a single tag-based mapping rule. |
| Observability data source \[sn_sow_svcobs_data_source\] | Defines a third-party APM vendor data source (an `http_connections`) that can be used to get telemetry for services. |
