Recalculate application services after you refine the default configuration to
control which CIs to include during the tag-based discovery process.

## Before you begin

Complete the steps to refine the default configuration for the tag-based discovery
process. For more details, see [Tag-based discovery
configuration](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/WMqYQ9cztLwkmoyPJWnmIw "You can refine the default configuration to control which CIs Service Mapping includes in application services during the tag-based discovery process.").

Role required: service_mapping_admin

## Procedure

1. Navigate to Service MappingServicesApplication Services.
2. Click the relevant application service.
3. Click Recalculate Service under Related Links.
4. Repeat these steps for all relevant tag-based services.
