The ServiceNow Otto for IT Operations Management (ITOM) application uses generative AI to provide alert analyses. Alert analyses include a human-readable brief of the alert and technical information to help you investigate the alert more
effectively.
Alert analysis is a crucial feature that completely transforms the alert triage process and can help achieve faster, seamless alert management. Powered by generative AI, it uses a large language model (LLM) to generate
human-readable alert titles and detailed descriptions based on enriched and actionable alert data. The AI-generated alert information facilitates quick alert triage and effective analysis for your team, which can lead to a
substantial reduction in resolution time.

Alert analysis enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of alert management.
Key features include:

* Automatic generation of clear, easy-to-understand alert descriptions.
* Availability of the analysis in the Alert form and Express List.
* Ability to refresh and regenerate data using card refresh.

Note:
Currently, ServiceNow Otto for ITOM only analyzes tag-based, CMDB, Log Analytics, Mixed, and Network Traffic-based alert groups. For all other alert group types, it only analyzes the parent alert.
