Discovery can find Linux Red Hat clusters that offer high availability and load balancing.

## Required credentials {#red-hat-cluster-discovery__section_yk5_cxl_mdb}

Configure [SSH credentials](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/access?context=r_SSHCredentialsForm&version=yokohama&pubname=yokohama-platform-security&ft:locale=en-US).

## Additional requirements {#red-hat-cluster-discovery__section_ps1_rwn_ndb}

You also need permissions to read the `/etc/hosts/` and
`/etc/cluster/cluster.conf` file, which associates host names with IP
addresses.  
The following commands are run for Oracle clusterware:{#red-hat-cluster-discovery__table_nfs_4tn_ndb__entry__1}
