Configure a push connector instance to receive the events from an external system.

## Before you begin

Ensure that you've defined a push connector definition.

Role required: evt_mgmt_admin

## About this task

You can use a connector instance to receive the events coming from external sources. You can create the following type of push connector instances:

* Instance type
* MID type
{#configure-push-connector-instance__ul_hn2_14c_2yb}

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllEvent ManagementIntegrationsPush Connector Instances.
2. Select the connector instance that you want to configure, or select New to create a push connector instance.
3. On the Push Connector Instance form, fill in the fields.  
   For more details, see [Push connector instance form](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/NHGx7tZ43jKo~uQ~kp_0Bw "Push Connector Instance form displays the fields that you must fill when you create or modify a connector.").
4. Select Submit or Update.

## Result

The push connector instance form is saved and now you can receive the events from an external system.
