# Run Tuning checks

# Run Tuning checks {#ariaid-title1}

Tuning checks are scans aimed at optimizing configurations, grouped into suites with each specific check detailed below.

## Before you begin

Role required: discovery_admin or admin

## About this task

The configured checks are listed under the following tabs:

* Discovery suite
* MID suite
* Self Monitoring suite

## Procedure

1. Navigate to WorkspacesDiscovery Admin WorkspaceTuning.
2. Select Checks.
3. To manually run a check for Discovery suite, MID suite, or Self Monitoring suite, select Run now.  
   Note:  
   The instance scan can only run one at a time, so wait for the in-progress scan to finish before re-running the suite.
4. To access more information about an issue, select the check name.  
   Note:  
   * To understand the issue, select the Show check description link.
   * To know more details on the issue, select the Documentation on the check link.
