Discovery and Service Mapping Patterns finds Azure Datacenter resources on your cloud environment. Discovering some of these resources may require updating to the latest version of the Discovery and Service Mapping Patterns application from the ServiceNow Store.

## Pattern-based discovery and mapping requirements {#azure-datacenter-discovery-pattern__section_rpj_fj2_bgc}

## Data collected by Discovery during horizontal discovery {#azure-datacenter-discovery-pattern__section_ggp_ql2_bgc}

Discovery populates the data in the CMDB when running the Azure Datacenter discovery pattern.

| Datacenter Type \[datacenter_type\] | The type of datacenter: Azure Datacenter \[cmdb_ci_azure_datacenter\]. |
| Is management account \[is_master_account\] | Indicates whether this is a management group account that manages multiple subscriptions. |
| Datacenter URL \[datacenter_url\] | The Azure management endpoint URL for the account. |
