Understand the high-level workflow for configuring the Cloud Provisioning and Governance: Terraform Connector application.
Perform the following steps to configure the Cloud Provisioning and Governance: Terraform Connector application:

1. Install Cloud Provisioning and Governance: Terraform Connector. For more information, see [Install Cloud Provisioning and Governance: Terraform Connector](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/KzUxCJwIYqoB34aES893qw "You can install the Cloud Provisioning and Governance: Terraform Connector application (com.sn_cmp_terraform) if you have the admin role.").
2. If you want to use a minor or patch version of Terraform Open Source, Terraform Enterprise, or Terraform Cloud, add the minor or patch version to the workload config provider record. 3. To use Terraform Open Source as a config provider for Cloud Provisioning and Governance, do the following:
   1. Assign Terraform capability to the MID Server. For more information, see [Configure MID Server capabilities](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/access?context=t_ConfigureCapabilities&version=yokohama&pubname=yokohama-servicenow-platform&ft:locale=en-US).
   2. Create a Terraform Open Source config provider. For more information, see [Create a Terraform Open Source config provider](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/MC9kz03hkBOFfsDUVmaWEw "Create a Terraform Open Source config provider in Cloud Provisioning and Governance. The Terraform Open Source config provider enables Cloud Provisioning and Governance to discover the Terraform Open Source config installables (Terraform templates) and detect changes in them.").
