# Request an Accelerator

# Request an Accelerator {#ariaid-title1}

Depending on the Impact package that you are subscribed to, you can request and consume a designated number of concurrent Impact Accelerators.

## Before you begin

For details on available Accelerators, refer to the [Accelerator catalog](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/Y5JxJ7MKRWmbb32AUpXtZA "This is a complete Impact Accelerator catalog that combines the Architecture, Strategy, and Technical sub-catalogs.").

Some Accelerators require additional terms and conditions and are offered pursuant to the applicable [Impact Accelerator Description](https://www.servicenow.com/legal/servicenow-impact.html). For Accelerators that require consent, the terms and conditions must be accepted from the Manage Permissions menu. See [Manage Initiative and Accelerator permissions](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/9qtSILNQZAN~YgMO60RKDQ "Review and approve Initiative and Accelerator activities access using Manage Permissions.") for more information.

Role required: Impact platform owner

## Procedure

1. Navigate to ImpactImpact Benefits \& UsageImpact benefitsCapabilitiesExperts on demandAccelerators.  
2. Select Accelerators from the Experts on demand section in the left-hand Capabilities menu.  
   Each Accelerator tile contains a brief description and the availability of Accelerators with individual consumption bars. Drill in for additional details on availability.
3. Select an Accelerator.  
   For additional information on Accelerators, see the [Accelerator catalog](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/Y5JxJ7MKRWmbb32AUpXtZA "This is a complete Impact Accelerator catalog that combines the Architecture, Strategy, and Technical sub-catalogs.").  
   The Accelerator details page opens.
4. Select Get started or Schedule only.  
   If the available slots are filled, Schedule only appears to add the Accelerator to the Initiative List/Roadmap to be started later.
5. Complete the form and select Complete Setup.  
   The Set up initiative form displays. The Accelerator in progress updates the status on the tile and displays in the [Initiatives \& Accelerators](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/LDdZM2Farfrr5SfXFIp_Qg "Initiatives are the actionable engagements and work streams that support your digital transformation. Impact Accelerators are fixed-scope offerings with experts behind each option to provide value exactly where you need it.") list.  
   Note:  
   An Impact Permissions Authorizer will grant or deny the request to start the initiative.
