Create new emission activities to track the activity that leads to emissions if you do not want to use the standard emission activities provided through the ESG content accelerator application.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn_esg.program_manager, sn_esg.admin

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllOperational Sustainability ManagementOperational Sustainability WorkspaceListsEmission Factor LibraryActivity.
2. Select New.
3. On the form, fill in the fields.

   | Field | Description |
   |-|-|
   | Name | Name of the emission activity. For example, <kbd class="ph userinput">Cars</kbd>. |
   | Type | Type of activity. For example, <kbd class="ph userinput">Luxury</kbd>. |
   | Subtype | Subtype of the activity. For example, <kbd class="ph userinput">Diesel</kbd>. |

4. Select Submit.
