Install the ServiceNow Otto for Creator application to add the Playbook Assist generative AI capability to your playbooks.

## Before you begin

* Review the [ServiceNow Otto for Creator](https://store.servicenow.com/sn_appstore_store.do#!/store/application/8178fec0ce0431105a7c9305875b2dca) application listing in the ServiceNow Store for information on dependencies, licensing or subscription requirements, and release compatibility.
* Enable Next Experience. For information about activating Next Experience, see [Considerations for activating Next Experience](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/access?context=next-experience-adoption-paths&version=yokohama&pubname=yokohama-platform-user-interface&ft:locale=en-US).
* Role required: admin

## Procedure

1. Navigate to the [ServiceNow Otto for Creator](https://store.servicenow.com/sn_appstore_store.do#!/store/application/8178fec0ce0431105a7c9305875b2dca) application on the ServiceNow Store.  
   Important:  
   ServiceNow Otto for Creator requires a separate subscription.
2. On the ServiceNow Otto for Creator application page, select Request App.
3. After approval has been granted, navigate to AllSystem ApplicationsAll Available Applications.
4. Find the ServiceNow Otto for Creator application (sn_now_creator) by using the filter criteria and search bar.
5. Select Install.

## Result

ServiceNow Otto for Creator is installed on the instance.

## What to do next

Configure ServiceNow Otto for Creator to turn on the Playbook Assist skills. Grant the now.assist.creator role to each user that you want to use Playbook Assist skills.
