# Turn on the flow recommendations skill {#ariaid-title1}

Turn on the flow recommendations skill to get recommendations for the next step of your flow with generative AI.

## Before you begin

* Install the ServiceNow Otto for Creator application. See [Install ServiceNow Otto for Creator](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/gLkkAX2VxciB8MASO2TaEg "Install the ServiceNow Otto for Creator application to add generative AI functionality to your workflows.").
* Role required: admin

## About this task

Important:  
The Flow recommendations skill requires a separate subscription to ServiceNow Otto for Creator.

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllAI Admin HubSkills.
2. In the workflow list, select Creator.  
3. In the Flow recommendations card, select Turn on.
4. In the Flow recommendations card, verify that the skill is active.

## What to do next

Grant the now.assist.creator role to each user who will use the Flow recommendations skill.
