# Navigate to a line number

When the syntax editor is disabled, users can navigate to a specific line in the code
using the Go to line icon (![The go to line icon]()).

## Before you begin

Disable the Syntax Editor.

Role required: admin

## Procedure

1. Click the Go to line icon (![The go to line icon]()).  
   Note:  
   This icon is not available when the editor is enabled.
2. Enter a number in the field and then press Enter.
