Initiate a contract request for purchase lines, purchase requisitions, sourcing requests, negotiations, or negotiation events from the related work section.

## Before you begin

Role required: admin

## Procedure

1. Navigate to the Source-to-Pay Workspace.
2. Open the entity for which you have to initiate a contract request.  
   Note:  
   From the related work section, contract requests can be initiated for purchase lines, purchase requisitions, sourcing requests, negotiations, and negotiation events.
3. Navigate to Related workContract Requests.
4. Select New.
5. Provide the details about the contract that you have to initiate.
6. Select Initiate.
