## Required ServiceNow AI Platform roles {#viewing-data-usage__section_nhr_21b_1bc}

The admin role is required to view the Data Usage Visualization Console dashboard.

## Accessing the dashboard {#viewing-data-usage__section_s5m_c1b_1bc}

View data usage on your current instance by navigating to AllPlatform AnalyticsDashboards and search for the Data Usage Visualization Console dashboard.

## Use cases {#viewing-data-usage__section_olw_p1b_1bc}

* View a summary of your cloud storage entitlements and track storage capacity across all the instances associated with your account in Subscription Management. View storage consumption for an instance by accessing the Data Usage Visualization Console dashboard.
* Monitor the current size of the database and track additional cloud storage consumption. For example, if you purchased shared storage for your instances, you can determine how much storage is consumed from the pool by your current instance.
* Determine which tables are consuming the most storage on your instance. Review your data management policies to determine if table data can be archived or cleaned after a point in time.
* Monitor storage consumption over the last 7 days or the last 30 days by checking the Storage growth trend chart.
