Reduce the number of email notifications you receive by enabling email digest
notifications. An email digest is a single email that summarizes the activity for a selected
notification and its target record during a specified time interval.

## Before you begin

Role required: none

## About this task

Notifications do not include the option to be received as an email digest by default.
Only admins can create an option to enable email digest for a selected
notification.

## Procedure

1. From the user profile, navigate to PreferencesNotifications and then select Advanced Preferences.
2. Select System Notifications.
3. Expand the notification.
4. Enable Email Digest and select the digest interval in which you want to receive the notification communication.
