# Delete a notification channel

Delete a notification channel so that you no longer receive notifications through the
channel.

## Before you begin

Role required: admin

## Procedure

1. Navigate to User menuPreferencesNotifications.
2. In the Notification Channels section, select the channel row or the right arrow (\>) next to the channel name.
3. On the Edit Channel form, select Delete.

## Result

The system deletes the channel from the list of notification channels and no longer delivers notifications to that channel.
