Apply a transition filter on a selected node or connection.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn_process_optimization_analyst, sn_process_optimization_power_user, or sn_process_optimization_admin

## Procedure

1. Navigate to WorkspacesProcess Mining Workspace.
2. Open a project for which you want to set the transition filter.
3. Go to the Analyst Workbench tab.
4. Select a node or connection on the graph.  
   The Metrics window is displayed.
5. Select Investigate \> Filter on transition from the Metrics window.

   The task runs in the background.
6. When the task completes, select View result in the Scheduled tasks panel of the Analyst Workbench.
