Objects that have been added to dashboards in Core UI are called widgets. You can create and manage widgets. Many applications have their own widgets. See an application's documentation for information about the widgets
included with the application.

Each widget type enables you to do something different on a dashboard. Follow the links for each type to learn how to create and edit the widgets on your dashboard.

Widgets are not available for Platform Analytics experience dashboards. Widgets are iframed on Core UI dashboards that are migrated to Platform Analytics experience.
Note:
Responsive dashboards do not support the Sticky Notes widget.
Widget types include:

Reports
: Report visualizations are snapshots of your data that show the state of your information in real time. For more information, see [Reporting](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/H158SFNCQMrpw6nQvkvdZg "ServiceNow Reporting enables you to create and distribute reports that show the current state of instance data, such as the number of open incidents of each priority. Reporting functionality is available by default for all tables, except for system tables.").

Performance Analytics
: Performance Analytics widgets visualize information based on indicator data collected over time. For more information, see [Performance Analytics widgets](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/Da4VULgrw2D2GChwB8IMsg "Widgets enable you to define visualizations for indicator scores. Widgets are shown on dashboards.").

Interactive Filters
: Interactive Filters allow you to filter all reports on a dashboard dynamically, without modifying the original reports. For more information, see [Interactive Filters](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/7GZYaas6evXTxVgAntpK0Q "Interactive Filters allow you to filter all reports on a dashboard dynamically, without modifying the original reports.").

Content Blocks
: Content blocks are pieces of information that you can reuse across your instance. For more information, see [Configure a content block](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/access?context=t_CreateAContentBlock&version=xanadu&pubname=xanadu-platform-user-interface&ft:locale=en-US).
* **[Create a widget that displays a ServiceNow UI page](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/VUnckxtALpsQwBPLi7EqdQ)**
You can create a ServiceNow UI page that displays a web page. You can then add that UI page to a widget that can be added to dashboards.
