Present analytics on Core UI dashboards through reports and Performance Analytics widgets. Explore Performance Analytics indicators on the Analytics Hub.

## Get started {#classic-vis-overview__section_ix3_4gn_kmb}

Visualizations in the Core UI tools include dashboards, reports, and analytics hubs. These visualizations empower administrators and other stakeholders to address statuses and correctly evaluate trends with real-time data.  
Note:  
For net new instances, reporting, dashboards, and Performance Analytics in the Core UI are replaced in the Xanadu release with Platform Analytics experience functionality:

## Reporting {#classic-vis-overview__section_tc5_pt5_vvb}

Visualize table data to show the current state of information in your ServiceNow instance. Export the visualization or add it to a dashboard to share it with others.

## Performance Analytics widgets {#classic-vis-overview__section_n35_pt5_vvb}

Create visual representations of key performance indicator (KPI) data. Performance Analytics widgets tie an indicator to a visualization, such as a trend line, a set of columns, or a pie chart. Filter indicator scores with breakdowns and apply time series functions to fine-tune your widgets.

## Responsive dashboards {#classic-vis-overview__section_j45_pt5_vvb}

Display multiple reports and Performance Analytics widgets on a single screen to tell a story with your data that you can share with stakeholders.

## Interactive filters {#classic-vis-overview__section_ln2_32v_j1c}

Interactive Filters allow you to filter all reports on a dashboard dynamically, without modifying the original reports.

## Analytics Hub {#classic-vis-overview__section_d55_pt5_vvb}

Analyze indicator scores by aggregating data, comparing scores, or viewing changes over time, and filter scores by breakdown. Enhance the Analytics Hub by adding targets, thresholds, trendlines, and useful comments for significant changes.  

## Interactive Analysis {#classic-vis-overview__section_f54_d43_k1c}

Dynamically analyze the data in a field across multiple records on a table. From the context menu of a table column, open an interface where you see bar and heatmap representations of the data in the field. Interactively select what values to group the data by and how to filter which data you analyze.
