Prepackaged solutions featuring Platform Analytics dashboards with data visualizations and Performance Analytics indicators (KPIs) are available for many ServiceNow® products. Use these solutions to get started quickly.

## Performance Analytics in your solutions {#content-packs-in-form-analytics__section_x25_ww5_msb}

Platform Analytics data visualizations use Performance Analytics [indicator](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/access?context=now-platform-glossary&version=xanadu&pubname=xanadu-glossary&section=gloss-indicator&ft:locale=en-US) data to show you data over time, helping you analyze your business processes and identify areas of improvement. With Platform Analytics Solutions, you can get value from Performance Analytics for your application with minimal setup. You can always create your own objects as well.  
Important:  
Set up and test Platform Analytics Solutions on a non-production instance before enabling them in production.

Platform Analytics Solutions provide all the configuration records required
to analyze default applications. Customize these records for use in your production
environment. ## Required Performance Analytics entitlement {#content-packs-in-form-analytics__section_frq_p5x_jjb}

To enable a Platform Analytics solution, an entitlement to use Platform Analytics with the relevant ServiceNow product may be required. Without proper entitlement, it may not be possible to activate the package, or the package will have data range limitations. For example, to enable the Customer
Service Management - Advanced Platform Analytics Solution, you must be entitled to use Performance Analytics for Customer Service Management.{#content-packs-in-form-analytics__p_x5b_nfg_h1c}

Platform Analytics Solutions that don't contain any Performance Analytics
components don't need a Performance Analytics entitlement.{#content-packs-in-form-analytics__p_y5b_nfg_h1c}
