This domain separation overview relates to Document Intelligence. Domain separation enables you to separate data, processes, and administrative tasks into logical groupings called domains. You can then control several aspects of this separation, including which users can
see and access data.

## How domain separation works with Document Intelligence {#domain-separation-and-doc-intel__section_l4n_t5g_tsb}

Follow these steps to achieve domain separation:

* Create a user with the required sn_docintel.admin roles in the respective domain.
* Replicate the following for every domain:
  * Document tasks
  * Fields
