Customize the Customer and Consumer Service Portals to meet your needs.

## Before you begin

Role required: admin

## Procedure

Navigate to AllService PortalService Portal Configuration.  
Some of the components that you can customize include:

* Branding: [Configure the
  portal branding](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/access?context=c_BrandingEditor&version=xanadu&pubname=xanadu-platform-user-interface&ft:locale=en-US) to give your Customer Service Portal its own look and feel. Portals Next Experience Theme is available for Customer and Consumer Service portals.
* Menus: [Configure the
  portal header menu](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/access?context=configure-header-menu&version=xanadu&pubname=xanadu-platform-user-interface&ft:locale=en-US) to set up the main menu, one of the main navigation controls for your users.
* Homepage: [Assign a

* Widgets: Use [Service Portal
