Auto-close container vulnerable items

    • Activate Auto-Close Container Vulnerable Items to close older container vulnerable items automatically based on filter conditions that you set.

    Before you begin

    Role required: Vulnerability admin

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Container Vulnerability Response > Administration > Auto-Close Vulnerable Items.
    2. Enter the number of days in the Auto-close vulnerable items last found (days ago) field.
      Note:
      By default, the number of days is 1 in the base system.
      If the container vulnerable item isn’t detected within the specified number of days, it’s automatically closed.
    3. Select Update.

      The scheduled job Auto-Close CVIT's runs daily. The job identifies the container vulnerable items whose last found isn’t in the configured number of days, and closes it.
