    • A budget target is an estimated amount of money for a specific fiscal period and budget key combination for operating and capital expenses. Use budget targets to set up a financial goal for a budget plan.

    Before you begin

    Role required: itfm_plan_analyst, admin

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Financial Planning > Financial Planning > Budget Targets.
    2. Fill in the form fields (see table).
    3. Click Submit.

      Field Description
      Budget Key The budget key to which this target applies. Select a key.
      Fiscal period The fiscal period year to which this target applies. Select a fiscal period.
      Target Currency The currency in use.
      Capital Target The amount of the target in the currency being used.
      Operating Target The target amount for operating expenses.
