Create an automation request from Automation Center

  • Create an automation request from Automation Center to automatically streamline your business processes, reduce how much time is spent on manual activities, and reduce your costs.

    Before you begin

    (Optional) Create an automation goal. For more information, see Create an automation goal.

    Role required: sn_ac.automation_business_user, sn_ac.automation_technical_user, or sn_ac.automation_admin

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Automation Center > Build > All Automation Requests.
    2. Select New.
    3. On the form, fill in the fields.
      For a description of the field values, see Automation request form from Automation Center.
    4. Select Submit.
    5. Complete the additional fields on the form, depending on your role.
    6. Select Save.
      Note:
      If you have the sn_ac.automation_technical_user and sn_ac.automation_admin roles, you can view the Recommendations contextual panel. For more information, see Configuring the Recommended Actions application with Automation Center.
