View network interfaces and physical connections for equipment placed in a rack or cabinet, without opening each equipment record individually.

## Viewing rack or cabinet equipment details overview {#viewing-rack-or-cabinet-equipment-details__section_rf1_mv2_lkc}

Auditing port status or reviewing physical connections across a rack or cabinet can involve many
pieces of equipment. Rack and Cabinet records include two related tabs: The Network Interfaces and Physical Connections to help you view network interfaces and physical connections for equipment placed in a rack or cabinet,
without opening each equipment record individually. These tabs consolidate this information into a single view, without requiring you to open each piece of equipment individually.

## Network Interfaces tab {#viewing-rack-or-cabinet-equipment-details__section_fwf_jv2_lkc}

The Network Interfaces tab on a Rack or Cabinet record shows all network interfaces from every
piece of equipment placed in that rack or cabinet. The list aggregates interfaces regardless of where an interface sits in the equipment hierarchy interfaces directly on a piece of equipment, on a card inside that equipment,
or on a module inside that card all appear in the same list.

## Physical Connections tab {#viewing-rack-or-cabinet-equipment-details__section_gwf_jv2_lkc}

The Physical Connections tab on a Rack or Cabinet record shows all physical connections for equipment and equipment interfaces placed in that rack or cabinet. Connections can span equipment in the same rack, equipment in
different racks at the same site, or equipment at different sites.
