View all physical connections for equipment placed in a rack or cabinet, so you can audit connection status or find an available port before creating a new connection.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn_ni_core.inventory_agent

* Physical connection records must exist for equipment placed in the rack or cabinet
* Rack or Cabinet CI records must exist in the system.
* The sn_ni_core application must be installed.

## About this task

Audit and update physical connection records for equipment in a rack or cabinet from a single list, without navigating to individual connection records. The Physical Connections related list shows all physical connections
where the equipment or interfaces in the rack or cabinet are an endpoint. Connections are included regardless of whether both endpoints are in the same rack --- cross-site connections appear if one endpoint belongs to
equipment in the rack or cabinet.

## Procedure

1. Navigate to Workspaces \> Network Inventory Workspace or Service Operation Workspace.
2. Select the list icon, and then go to Inventory \> Rack or Inventory \> Cabinet.
3. Select the rack or cabinet record.
4. Select the Physical Connections tab.
5. Review the connections listed

## Result

You can see all physical connections for the rack or cabinet's equipment in a single list, and identify available ports for new connections without opening each equipment record.
