Version 4.0.5 - September 2026
:   This release adds extension support, letting you customize the connector's data collection behavior without modifying its core logic. Devices with a very large number of ports could previously fail to import; port data is now processed
    in smaller batches so large devices import successfully. Failed Fortinet API requests now also produce more actionable error messages, making issues easier to diagnose.

Version 3.0.7 - August 2026
:   The Fortinet connector has been fully converted to the Fluent SDK (Now SDK) TypeScript format, with new discovery extension points and a guided setup step for system properties configuration. Several fixes improve the uninstall workflow
    and guided setup coverage.

Version 2.9.0 - July 2026
:
    * This release enhances attribute mapping extensibility, improves device data completeness, and gives administrators greater control over performance tuning.
      * What's new
        * Custom attribute mapping --- Operators can extend or override Fortinet device attribute mappings to TSOM records without modifying core connector code. Part of a platform-wide rollout across Fortinet, Meraki, and VeloCloud connectors.
        * Connection URLs for discovered devices --- Discovered devices now include connection URLs in TSOM for better traceability and source device linking.
        * Configurable ETL batch size --- Administrators can adjust the number of records processed per batch to match instance capacity.
      * Issues fixed
        * Corrected device port attribute mapping errors.
        * Removed redundant configuration entries that could cause unexpected behavior.
      * Before you upgrade: If your organization has customized attribute mappings, review the new extension point for a supported, upgrade-safe alternative.
      * Other: Localization strings updated.
