Service Graph Connector for Observability - Dynatrace
Summarize
Summary of Service Graph Connector for Observability - Dynatrace
The Service Graph Connector for Observability - Dynatrace enables ServiceNow customers to ingest Configuration Item (CI) data, events, metrics, and logs from Dynatrace directly into their ServiceNow instance. It supports Dynatrace Classic (v1/v2 APIs) and is designed for Dynatrace managed (self-hosted) or legacy SaaS environments. Customers using or upgrading to the latest Dynatrace 3rd-generation SaaS platform should instead use the newer Service Graph Connector for Observability - Dynatrace SaaS.

Supported Versions
- Minimum Dynatrace SaaS version supported: 1.284
- Supported ServiceNow releases: Yokohama, Zurich, Australia
Important Upgrade Information
Before upgrading to version 1.10.0 or later, customers must disable reconciliation rules on tables extending the Application [cmdbciappl] table to prevent conflicts. Detailed guidance is available in the Now Support Knowledge Base.
Configuration
Connections for the Dynatrace connector should be configured using the SGC Central view available in the Service Graph Workspace or CMDB Workspace. This interface supports discovery, installation, lifecycle management, monitoring, and debugging of connectors. The legacy guided setup method is planned for deprecation and should be avoided unless configuration issues arise.
Monitoring and Management
The Integration Commons for CMDB app provides a centralized dashboard to monitor the status, processing results, and errors of all CMDB integrations, including Dynatrace. Users can filter metrics by integration, time period, or specific runs, facilitating effective operational oversight.
