Key Features
- Work Set Standards: Create work set standards that group multiple standard and action sub-activities. These can be published through approval and versioning workflows, and executed as work set tasks that generate child guided tasks and industrial actions on the shop floor.
- Industrial Standards Library: An enhanced Standards Hub provides tile and list views with filters for state, scope, category, functional location, and equipment model. This allows users to efficiently browse, compare, and analyze standards, linked tasks, skills, and knowledge, while differentiating enterprise and site-specific standards to prevent misapplication.
- Scheduling Standards: Configure recurring work schedules with daily, weekly, monthly, and custom patterns. A system property enables alignment of task creation with shift handovers or production calendars. Runtime tracing enhances visibility into task status and exceptions.
- Skill-Based Task Management: Define required skills or certifications within standards to ensure only qualified operators perform safety-critical tasks. Supervisors can request waivers or alternative task routing when skills are missing.
- Authoring Experience: A new authoring interface provides built-in guidance, validation, and structure rules to accelerate creating and managing operational standards.
Activation and Integration
Industrial Standards is automatically installed with the Industrial Connected Workforce (ICW) Mobile Experience as part of the ICW Foundational SKU, which can be requested from the ServiceNow Store. It relies on the ICW Core application for foundational data models, workflows, and governance structures and integrates closely with Industrial Guided Tasks and ICW Mobile Experience for seamless task execution and frontline worker engagement.
