# Submit a task

# Submit a task from the Source-to-Pay Workspace {#ariaid-title1}

Submit a task in Draft state to indicate that it is ready to be worked on.

## Antes de Iniciar

Role required: sn_slm.manager, sn_slm.fulfiller, sn_slm.owner, or sn_slm.admin

## Procedimento

1. Navigate to AllSupplier Lifecycle OperationsSource-to-Pay Workspace.
2. Select the list icon (![List icon.]()).
3. Do one of the following:  
   * View all the supplier tasks by navigating to ListsAll workSupplier tasks.
   * View all the employee tasks by navigating to ListsAll workEmployee tasks.

4. Open a task that is in Draft state by selecting the link to the task in the Number column.
5. Select Submit task.

## Resultado

The state of the task updates to Awaiting completion, indicating that the task is ready to be worked on.
