# Create a category for assessable records

# Create a category for assessable records {#ariaid-title1}

After you create a metric type and generate assessable records, create categories for the themes you are interested in using to evaluate the assessable records.{#t_CreateACategoryAR__ph_create-category-short-desc}

## Procedimento

1. Navigate to AllAssessmentsMetric DefinitionCategories.
2. Click New to create a new metric category.
3. On the Metric Category form, fill in the fields.
