# Configure a survey in the survey designer

# Configure a survey in the survey designer {#ariaid-title1}

Configuration settings apply to the entire survey.

## Antes de Iniciar

Role required:
survey_creator,
survey_admin, or admin

## Procedimento

1. Navigate to AllSurveyView Surveys.
2. Open a survey definition in Survey Designer.
3. Select the Configuration tab.
4. On the Survey Designer Configuration form, fill in the fields.  
   For a description of the field values, see [Survey Designer Configuration form](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/HzYJ5A_2wjY_c9J2CJ118A "Description of the field values for the Survey Designer Configuration form.").
5. Select the Availability tab and complete the form.
