Instantly republish a retired article.

## Antes de Iniciar

You must activate the Knowledge Management Advanced (com.snc.knowledge_advanced)
plugin.

Role required: admin or knowledge admin
Nota:
You need a scoped admin role to republish a retired article in the [Scoped knowledge bases](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/16ScvyB1HsC_q7Km031aHw "To protect knowledge bases containing sensitive articles, use a scoped knowledge base. Even system administrators and knowledge administrators can't administer scoped knowledge bases unless explicitly authorized through user criteria.").

## Por Que e Quando Desempenhar Esta Tarefa

There may be cases where you will need to republish a retired article. For example, an admin may want to temporarily retire an article when its information doesn't currently apply, but will at a later date. An administrator or knowledge administrator who can view retired articles can instantly republish these without having to go through an approval workflow.

## Procedimento

1. Navigate to AllKnowledgeArticlesRetired.
2. Select a retired article and click Republish.

## Resultado

The article is instantly published as the previous last published version.
