# Contextual Search widget

Contextual Search is an embedded widget that can be added to a record producer and used
with the SC Catalog Item widget. You can use this base system widget as-is in your portal or clone it to suit your own business needs.

By default, the widget is included in the Create Incident record
producer form to display items based on keywords entered in the description. These items can be
knowledge articles or Service Catalog items. These search results appear as the
user types the information.
