Create a product non-conformance case
Create a non-conformance case for the products that have issue.

Role required: Quality Issue Management Admin, product non-conformance resolver (sn_mfg_qm.product_non_conformance_resolver) or product Non-conformance Submitter (sn_mfg_qm.product_non_conformance_submitter)

Navigate to Workspaces > CSM/FSM Configurable Workspace > List > Product Non Conformance Case > All > New.

Understand the issue.
- Create Non-conformance

- Select Install Base.
- Select Continue.
The Product Details window displays.
- Product Details

- On the Product Details Case form, fill in the fields.
For a description of the field values, see Product details form
- Select Save, to save the product details.
- Select Assign to me, to assign the case to self.
- Select Continue.
The Issue Details activity window displays.
- On the Product Details Case form, fill in the fields.
- Issue Details

- On the Issue Details form, fill in the following fields.
- What: Description of the problem or incident in clear, concise terms.
- Where: Location of the issue.
- Who: Individuals or teams involved in the issue or affected by it.
- When: Timeline of the issue: When it was first detected, when it occurred, and the duration of its impact.
- Why: Underlying causes of the issue.
- How: Details of how the issue occurred and how it was resolved.
- How much: Number of parts or customers affected.
- Select Save to save these values.
- Select Continue.
- On the Issue Details form, fill in the following fields.
- Upload Documents

- Select Add file to attach documents.
- Select Mark Complete.
When you select Mark Complete, all activities in Understand the Issue are marked complete. The Apply correction and Batch containment activities display simultaneous. -
Apply correction and Batch containment.
Apply correction: It is the immediate fix for which the issue has been raised.
- Apply correction

- Select the Apply Correction Activity.
- Select Add to add new correction action.
- Select edit to view and edit the correction actions form.
You can Create a correction action and
Create a CoPQ expense line. - Select Continue>Mark complete.
Batch containment: If there are similar issue that are there in the same location.
- Batch containment
- Identify impact
- Select Add.
- On the Create new Impact asset, fill in the following details.
- Issue
- Status
- Asset
- Install base
- Select Save.
- Select Continue.
- Apply Containment
- Select Add.
- On the Containment actions form, fill in the Containment action form details.
- Add the Expense line details.
- Description
- CoPQ Type
- Asset
- Amount
- Select the Map impacted assets.
- Select Add file, to add any attachments.
- Select Save.
- Select Mark Complete.

Outcome
- Pre-Closure Checklist

On per-closure checklist, review all the details. It shows the activities that are completed or pending.Nota:You can edit any activity, if it is pending. All the pending activities will be in red.
- Select Create quality investigation. To complete the Investigation initiated action.Nota:This step is optional. Create a quality investigation only if needed.
- Select Continue.
- Select Create quality investigation. To complete the Investigation initiated action.
- Outcome

Enables you to close the product non-conformance.
- Select State. To close, select Closed complete.
- Select Resolution code. To close, select Solved.
- Add Resolution notes.
- Select Close.
