The corrective action form enables the OEM to address the asset issue, either by eliminating or replacing the asset.

| Field | Description |
|-|-|
| Number | Corrective action number that is automatically generated. The number starts with CA. |
| Name | Name of the corrective action. |
| Affected part | Choose the affected part. This is the part for which the corrective action is being performed. |
| State | State of the action. |
| Recall campaign | Recall campaign details that are fetched from [Recall campaign form](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/GdjZXQ2fIp0mxL5jfFx3WA "The recall campaign form provides the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) with the required information to initiate a recall campaign."). |
| Mandatory | Option to set the corrective action as required. If selected, then the technician has to perform corrective action. |
| Remedy type | Remedy type specifies the corrective action as to what type of correction is being performed. * If remedy type is repair: only one corrective action charge is required. * If the remedy type is replacement: add the affected part. In the [Corrective action charges form](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/aXjWCcLwT33f6rWh6GQs8g "Corrective action charges form include the expenses related to addressing a non-conformance like labor charges."), select the Type as "Part" and the Main part. {#mco-corrective-action-form__ul_fv2_mhr_khc} |
| Impacted asset applicability | Applying conditions for the impacted assets table on the part of recall campaign. |
| Details | Brief detail about the corrective actions. |
