# Create promotion type

As a
OEM or manufacturer,
create a sales promotion type
that is applicable to a specific set of
promotions.

## Antes de Iniciar

Role required: manufacturing operations admin (sn_mfg_cmn.manufacturing_operations_admin) or sales promotion manager (sn_sales_prm_mgmt.sales_promotion_manager)

## Procedimento

1. Navigate to WorkspacesCSM/FSM Configurable WorkspaceListsSales Promotion SetupPromotion Types.
2. Select New.
3. On the form, fill in the fields.

   | Field | Definition |
   |-|-|
   | Name | Name of the promotion type. |
   | Input set | MCO input set. This field contains a set of questionnaires. To create an input set, see [Create promotion questionnaire](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/lOoJfdElOW5UOfapickiSA "Create a promotion questionnaire. Configure the MCO input set."). |
   | Description | Short description of the sales promotion type. |

4. Select Save.
