Create a test environment to define the setup to be used when conducting the tests in
a test plan.

Role required: tm_test_manager

## Por Que e Quando Desempenhar Esta Tarefa

A test plan can specify the software version or the operating system to be used. The
Test Environment form includes the type of environment and can also include a
URL.

## Procedimento

1. Navigate to AllTest ManagementTest ExecutionTest Environments.
2. Click New.
3. On the form, fill in the fields.

   | Field | Description |
   |-|-|
   | Number | System-generated unique identifier of the test environment. |
   | Name | Name of the test environment. |
   | Type | Type of environment. Select one from the following: * Development * Production * QA * User Acceptance Testing (UAT) * Staging * Support {#t_CreatingTestEnvironments__ul_sqp_vjx_yq} |
   | URL | URL of the test environment. |
   | Short description | Brief description of the test environment. |

4. Click Submit.
