# Access the legacy Portfolio workbench

# Access the legacy Portfolio workbench {#ariaid-title1}

When you access the portfolio workbench, the dashboard displays a list of all the
portfolios.

## Antes de Iniciar

Role required: it_portfolio_manager

## Procedimento

1. Access the portfolio workbench in one of these ways
   * Click the Portfolio Workbench related link on the Portfolio form.
   * Navigate to AllProjectPortfoliosWorkbench
   {#t_AccessThePortfolioWorkbench__choices_vnb_mj1_nsb}
2. Click the configuration icon (![Configuration icon]()) and select the colors for projects, tasks, portfolios, and so on.  
   The workbench uses these colors to display the items in the portfolio in the Gantt chart in [timeline view](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/E5AYkaey_sHFp0h~qQYxjQ "View all the demands and projects scheduled for the selected fiscal year with their planned cost, resource requirements, and priorities to finalize them for execution.").Figura 1. 3. Click the portfolio you want to open.
