Create IT shared services to set up the IT shared services segment in the hierarchy
of segments.

Then you can create rollup rules to have expenses roll up to these shared services,
which in turn roll up to business services by default. Then create service types to
use with shared services.

## Procedimento

1. Navigate to AllFinancial ModelingHierarchy of SegmentsIT Shared Services.
2. Click New.
3. On the form, fill in the fields.

   | Field | Description |
   |-|-|
   | Name | The name of the shared service. |
   | Owner | The user in the group that owns the shared service. |
   | Description | A detailed description of the shared service. |
   | Group | The group that owns this shared service. |
   | Service type | The [type of service](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/Z5kqOszodzEYNUtKZWycsQ "Create service types, which are used by IT shared services.") that you are creating. |

4. Click Submit.
