If you want to create a cost model based on an existing one, you can clone a cost
model.

## Antes de Iniciar

Role required: cost_transparency_admin or cost_transparency_analyst  
Importante:  
This feature is available only when you own an ITBM Analyst
license.

## Por Que e Quando Desempenhar Esta Tarefa

When you clone a cost model, all data related to cleansing conditions, allocations,
buckets, hierarchy of segments and rollups are copied over to the new cost model.
Allocation lines are not cloned. You still need to perform allocations to generate
allocation lines and run reports on the new allocation data.

## Procedimento

1. Open the Cost Models tab on the workbench.
2. Click the clone icon for the cost model you want to clone.
3. On the form, fill in the fields.

   | Name | The name of the new cost model. |
   | Description | A description of the new cost model. |
   | Clone From | The cost model you are basing the new cost model on. |

4. Click Create.
