Segments define the transaction table used in cost model hierarchy.

You can modify the default segments offered by the Financial Modeling application. You can also
create new segments based on your requirement. If segments are enabled for cost allocation, they
are available during building of cost model hierarchy.

You cannot delete a segment that is allocated to a cost model.
