# Convert a release team to a group (only for existing customers having release

Convert an existing release team to an assignment group of type Agile Team so that
you can assign them to a product or a release.

Role required: admin

## Por Que e Quando Desempenhar Esta Tarefa

Agile Development 2.0 does not use Release Teams. Existing users who have created release teams must convert the existing teams to assignment groups.

## Procedimento

1. Navigate to AllAgile DevelopmentGroups.
2. Click the Convert Release Teams to Groups related link.
3. Select the team that you want to convert to an assignment group.
4. Click Convert to Group.

## Resultado

* The release team is available as assignment group from Agile DevelopmentGroups.
* The members of the release team are copied to the assignment group.
