    Importante:
You can enable security implementation to execute AI agents and agentic workflows through Access Control Lists (ACLs) and user identities. ACLs provide the Run As capability to let agents and agentic workflows execute actions either as a dynamic user or as an AI user. For more information, see Implement access control in Now Assist AI agents.
    Importante:
By default, all agentic workflows and AI agent records are read-only.

    Running an agentic workflow

You can run an agentic workflow by using the following steps:
    1. If you want to run a customized agentic workflow, configure it by using one of the following options:
      • Create a new workflow and configure the settings according to your requirements.

For detailed instructions, see Create an agentic workflow.

      • Duplicate an existing workflow and adjust the settings according to your requirements.

For detailed instructions, see Duplicate an agentic workflow.

      Nota:
If you want to run an existing agentic workflow as is, skip this step and proceed directly to step 3.
    2. Test the customized agentic workflow to analyze its performance while it executes the instructions that you have defined.

For detailed instructions, see Manually test the execution of an agentic workflow.

    3. Activate the agentic workflow and all AI agents that are used by the workflow.

For detailed instructions, see Activate an agentic workflow template.

    4. Activate the trigger to invoke the agentic workflow automatically.

For more information on workflow triggers, see Add a trigger to an agentic workflow.

      Nota:
If you do not activate the trigger, you must invoke the agentic workflow manually.
