# Submit a modeling diagram for approval {#ariaid-title1}

Send your draft modeling diagrams for approval. After receiving the approval, you can commit the diagram to the database. The approval process can be done through a configured workflow. By default, the approval request is
submitted to the Enterprise Architect group.

## Antes de Iniciar

Role required: sn_apm.apm_user  
Nota:  
You must have the Owner or Editor access to the artifact or diagram.

## Procedimento

1. Navigate to WorkspacesEnterprise Architecture Workspace.
2. Open the Modeling page by selecting the Enterprise Modeling and Visualization icon (![Enterprise Modeling and Visualization]()).
3. Select an existing diagram from the Diagrams page.
4. Select the More actions menu ![More actions menu]().
5. Select Submit for approval.
6. Select Submit.  
   After the diagram is submitted for approval, you can't change the diagram.
