In the classic environment, use lists and forms to get your work done.  
Note:  
This content pertains to the classic environment, which refers to working in lists of records and on record forms directly, not in the [Configurable Workspace interface](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/i7UoEpAN3tRKn2tFfFnENQ "The Configurable Workspace UI provides a suite of tools in a single, focused work area to help you answer customer questions and resolve issues."). You can work in the classic environment with Next Experience active, or with it inactive, which is referred to as Core UI (formerly known as UI16).
